Homework:

Homework is assigned nightly and checked daily.  Spelling packets are given to the students on Mondays and due on Friday.  Reading Logs are also assigned nightly.  The Reading Log expectation is to read for 30 minutes each evening, including one day on the weekend.  All Reading Logs will be due on Monday, but checked daily.  Each student needs to write at least three sentences about what they read in their nightly Reading Log.  Parents need to sign the Reading Log as it is completed each night along with the weekly planner.  Math homework will be assigned nightly, Monday through Thursday and be due the following day.  There will not be any assigned Math homework on Math test days.

Absences:

Students who are absent must complete any missing homework assignment.  Homework assignments are written on the board daily and remain on the board for the entire week.
