Welcome to O.W. Erlewine Elementary School

O.W. Erlewine Elementary is a welcoming TK–6 school rooted in community values, located in the peaceful College Greens East neighborhood near the American River Parkway in Sacramento. The campus offers rich outdoor learning experiences through its ecology center, nature trail, and garden, where students explore environmental science through hands-on activities. With a dedicated staff and a well-rounded curriculum that includes enrichment, after-school programs, and social-emotional learning, Erlewine encourages every student to lead with “Love and Kindness” in all they do.

TK and Kindergarten

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten are exciting first steps in your child’s learning journey! TK gives younger children a nurturing start, while Kindergarten builds confidence with reading, math, and hands-on discovery. Both programs help your child get ready for a bright future in school.

Visual and Performing Arts

Visual and performing arts enrich TK–12 students’ lives by fostering creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking. Through music, dance, theater, and visual arts, students build confidence, improve collaboration and communication skills, and deepen cultural awareness.
