Parent Teacher Association
Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
What is the PTA?
The Parent Teacher Association is YOU! Parents, guardians, and teachers of Erlewine School. The $10.00 yearly dues provide you with membership in the California State PTA and adds to our local programs.
How ofter does the PTA meet?
Every October a membership drive is held to recruit families for our PTA. Anyone can become a member and attend the general board meetings, which are held once a month.
What does the PTA do?
The O.W. Erlewine PTA invites you to join us to make a positive difference in the education and quality of life for all children. We are pleased to welcome you to our school.
We realize how important your children are to you and that you want the best for them. The PTA can help you achieve that! We all know children learn more and have better lives when families, school staff, students, and the community work together.
Here are some ways PTA enriches your child’s life:
- Fun, interesting, and informative assemblies
- Technology support
- Family Dances
- Site improvement/Garden Supplies
- Classroom and Janitorial Supplies
I don’t have time to get involved
You can pick the level of involvement that meets your schedule and needs. It doesn’t take much to make a difference. There are a variety of ways to be involved on your schedule, if you are interested contact the office at 395-4660.
